Mezz USA is at the 2009 Super Billiards Expo at Valley Forge this weekend. Come by and visit us if you’re going to be at the event. Mika Immonen will be hanging out at the booth most of the time. We will be at Booth 99 & 100. Hope to see you there! 
Lots of high-caliber players showed up for the 2nd Predator tournament of the season. Winner of the last tournament Ignacio Chavez went undefeated all the way and beat Tony Robles for the “hot seat”. Final four on winners side included Frankie Hernandez and George San Souci.
Mika, on the other hand, suffered a loss in the third round in the hands of Rob Saez. He then began a battle that would take him the long route.
He met Frankie in the 3rd match of Sunday and trashed him 9-0. Next he would meet with Goerge Rodriguez who just had two back-toback hill-hill battles: first with Rob Saez and then with San Souci.
The TV arena was a tough one for Rodriguez, his first time. Mika ends up winning 9-3.
Then it was Robles in the Semis. It was close in the beginning, 2-2. but then Mika pulled away all the way to 8-2. Tony would grab one more rack before the final 9-3 score.
Immonen was in top confidence for the finals against Chavez. He kept on breaking and running out as he had done in the last two matches. Chavez was struggling to find a good spot to break from and it meant Mika was building a solid lead. The safety-battles was pretty even but in the end Mika took the title 11-4.
